our board of directors.
Our Board of Directors provides covering, oversight & direction to the organization. They are a team of people who care deeply for the mission of Wings of Refuge, Inc. & willingly offer their strengths to see the organization thrive.
Stephanie Kull
Stephanie has been a part of the Wings of Refuge family since the beginning as a sponsor, advocate, and director. She lives in Ramsey, NJ with her husband, Jared, and two kids — Joaquin & Natalia. She works in publishing as a production manager. Steph takes any opportunity she gets to visit Haiti, and is always blessed by the warm & welcoming spirit.
Fabienne Deplat
Fabienne first came in contact with Wings of Refuge in Haiti while she worked for one of the artisan groups we have the honor of partnering with. She now lives in Montreal, Canada with her family, where she works for a packaging company. She is passionate about seeing new opportunities created in her country through better access to education.
Dan Maize
Dan joined the Wings of Refuge family as a sponsor and then he & his wife, Michele, served together as our Sponsorship Directors. He is retired and lives in Tacoma, WA with Michele and their dog, Jasper. He can usually be found on his bike, in the kitchen baking sourdough bread & roasting coffee, or in front of a fire reading a good book.
Deb Goodwin
Deb first came in contact with Wings of Refuge when she had the opportunity to join us in Haiti in 2014. She lives in Williamsburg, VA with her husband Jay and rescue pup, King, where she works as an attorney. For fun, Deb loves to read, sing, spend time with family, and debate the intricacies of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Matt Inman
Matt first joined the Wings of Refuge, Inc. family in its early days as a sponsor. He lives in Williamsburg, VA with his wife, Jenn, and their three kids. He works as a commercial pilot, so at any point he may not be in Williamsburg.
Kens Germain
Kens visited the Children’s Home when it was just beginning. Not long after, she married Stevenson — the Home’s first Director — and they have been faithful supporters ever since. They live in Florida with their three sons and visit Haiti whenever they can. Kens’ favorite thing about her country is the courage of her people.
